January 9 - June 23, 2007 ~ Museums of Port Isabel Special Exhibit	*“Full Sails, Full Nets: Fishing the Texas Scow Sloop”*. A traveling exhibit presented by the Texas Maritime Museum in Rockport and funded in part by Humanities, Texas, will cover the history of the Texas Scow Sloop, designed by Port Isabel fisherman in the early 1900s. There will be photographs, artifacts, a replica of the scow sloop and interviews by fisherman from Port Isabel and the rest of the Texas coast who used the scow sloops.
